It’s not easy being one of the only openly gay comics in the Midwest, but it makes him stand out in the crowd.  Tommy Chamberlain was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and after graduating from the Visual and Performing Arts High School, Tommy moved to Los Angeles to work as an actor and runway Model.

 

Tommy played for a short while in the band “Motorcycle Boy” with friend Alan Stlesa.  Tommy also wrote, directed and produced a comedy program for public access called “Future Is Now” featuring skits and celebrity interviews.

 

Independent films that Tommy has worked on include: “Father Newberry”; “Let’s Be Friends”; “Art Deco”; and “Big Brass Ring”; “Salvation (Without You)”; & “Semper Diaz”.

 

Now back in St. Louis with all of these creative accomplishments under his belt, he is currently bringing his own original brand of stand up comedy laced with hilarious storytelling to clubs all around the Midwest area.  He is an MC at The Funny Bone Comedy Club and he plans to tour from coast to coast in the near future.

 

Tommy has appeared regularly at the following clubs: Westport Funny Bone, Fairview Heights Funny Bone, The Comedy Forum, Great Grizzly Bear, Generations, and the Red Sea.
